Larry Hughes Out 6-8 Weeks, Kobe OK?

Larry Hughes wasted no time this season getting himself injured. The brittle shooting guard dislocated his right shoulder while going after a loose ball during yesterday's game against Minnesota. This shouldn't come as a shock to anyone since history has shown us that it's not a matter of "if" Hughes will get injured, but "when" and "how". There is a silver lining, however, in that the Bulls backcourt is a little less crowded now. This is potentially good news for those who draft Ben Gordon or Derrick Rose. Ok, maybe even Kirk Hinrich.

Kobe Bryant gave us all a scare Tuesday when he hyperextended his knee. He claims that the injury is not serious and he doesn't expect to miss any games. He didn't even have an MRI. I'd keep an eye on the situation, but it seems to be a false alarm at this point.
