Kevin Love - Minnesota

Season Stats (January-per game):

16.8 pts, 3.95 reb, 2.95 ast, .68 stl, 0.5 blk. Shooting: 50.7% FG,
88% FT, 1.7 - 3pts made.

Thanks to a torn ACL, Al Jefferson is lost for the season. This is by far the worst injury of the year, and if you had Jefferson then believe me – I feel your pain, and despair for that matter. Dude was a rock, arguably an All-Star, and one of the most consistent players for fantasy owners. Plus he was a center, and we all know that quality centers are becoming more and more scarce these days. Still, there’s no point in mourning the loss for the rest of the season. If you’re in a shallow league, there’s a decent chance that Kevin Love is available on the wire. If you see him, snatch him up fast. If he’s gone, then he’s a good player to make a trade offer for, because his numbers will almost certainly go up. He’s already started the past three games for the T’Wolves, and has been playing at a higher level for the past couple of weeks. His numbers since January 2nd: 12.1 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, .5 blocks, 53 percent from the field, 81 percent from the line. His numbers should get better as he gets used to playing bigger minutes.
