Um, CP3 just showed everyone why it's important to make him a top 2 pick in EVERY SINGLE LEAGUE for the second half of the season. He and LeBron James are in a class of their own, and it's become apparent that he can pick teams apart whether or not David West is playing. And yes, that's a scary thing.
Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat - 35 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, 2 steals, 13-of-19 FG, 9-10 FG.
Wade scored 37% of his team's points last night, and continues to keep the Heat afloat while Shawn Marion deals with a tough groin injury. If there's one glaring weakness in his game, it's Wade's inability to hit the three-point shot. Luckily for him, his mid-range game is deadly, so defenders still have to respect any hesitation or ball fake. Another really stellar line from Wade last night.
Amar'e Stoudemire, Phoenix Suns - 22 points, 15 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 3 blocks, 9-of-13 FG and 4-4 FT.
Not since December 6 has Amar'e tallied 15+ rebounds, so last night's explosion was a welcome sight. Let's hope collectively that Stoudemire can keep his intensity level this high on a more regular basis... our preseason top 5 pick is hovering around #9 at the moment.

Ron Artest, Houston Rockets - 11 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists.
When you look at Artest's on-the-surface line, it's not so bad, considering it's his second game back after a seven-game absence. But when you check his shooting numbers, it's enough to make you head to the restroom and toss up your dinner. Artest hung a 4-for-19 (21%) shooting line from the field and a somehow-worse 1-of-10 from three-point range. He did, however, make both of his free-throw attempts. As of press time, there was no apology issued to fantasy owners by Artest or on his behalf.
